Balloon Arches and Custom Balloon Decor in Columbia, SC
Planning Event Decor Shouldn’t Feel Like Guesswork
Most people planning a birthday party, baby shower, graduation, or business opening in the Columbia, Fort Mill, or Charlotte area run into the same three problems. First, they cannot find a vendor who builds decor for their exact event date instead of pulling from generic pre made stock. Second, they worry the balloons will look great for an hour and then sag or pop before guests even arrive. Third, they are not sure who to trust with their color scheme, theme, or brand colors for a corporate event.
If any of that sounds familiar, you are not alone. It is the single most common concern we hear from customers across the Columbia metro area, Fort Mill, and Charlotte.
Custom Balloon Arches Built for Your Event, Not Off a Shelf
The Balloon Squad designs and hand builds every balloon arch to order for the specific event it is going to. Nothing is mass produced or kept sitting in storage. Each arch is built using premium, professional grade balloons in the colors, size, and style you choose, so the finished piece matches your event and not a stock photo.
We serve birthdays, baby showers, gender reveals, graduations, corporate launches, and grand opening events throughout Columbia, South Carolina, and now Fort Mill, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina.
Balloon Arch Styles for Every Occasion
Every event calls for a different look, so we build several arch styles rather than one standard design.
- Organic garland arches: a textured, asymmetrical look that has become the most requested style for weddings, showers, and photo backdrops
- Classic round arches: a clean, traditional entrance piece for birthday parties and grand openings
- Number and letter arches: shaped around a milestone age, an initial, or a company name
- Drive through arches: an oversized arch built for car parades, graduation drive bys, and outdoor celebrations
- Corporate and grand opening arches: built in a brand’s specific color palette for storefronts and business launches
Whatever the occasion, our balloon arches are built to hold their shape and color for the full length of your event, not just for photos at the start.
How Balloon Arch Pre Orders Work
Our Shakespeare Road location in Columbia is a working design warehouse, not a walk in retail store, so every arch is pre ordered and built specifically for one event date. Here is the process from start to finish.
- Submit your pre order online or by contacting our team directly, including your event date, color scheme, and arch style
- Our design team builds your arch fresh, close to your event date, so it never sits around losing shape or color
- Choose local delivery or pickup, Monday through Friday, across Columbia, Fort Mill, and Charlotte
Because every piece is custom built rather than pulled from stock, we recommend placing your pre order as early as possible so your preferred date and color combination are available.
Why Columbia, Fort Mill, and Charlotte Families and Planners Choose The Balloon Squad
There is no shortage of party decor vendors online. Here is what actually sets our balloon arch work apart.
- Certified balloon design: our design work is led by a Certified Balloon Decor Designer (CBDD), a credential that reflects formal training in balloon construction, color theory, and structural safety, not just online tutorials
- Veteran and family-owned: The Balloon Squad is a veteran and family-owned small business based in Columbia, South Carolina, and we treat every event with that same personal accountability
- Environmentally conscious materials: we are a member of the PEBA eco-friendly balloon alliance, meaning our balloon sourcing and disposal practices follow current industry best practices for reducing environmental impact
- Local, not a national franchise: we are based in Columbia and know the area, which means realistic delivery timing, familiarity with local venues, and a team that answers when you call
- Built for the whole event, not just the reveal: our construction methods are chosen so arches hold their shape through an entire wedding reception, birthday party, or grand opening, not just the first photo
